Well, I braved the snow and ice, saw almost no birds, but had a lot of fun. I can only apologise for what now follows. I forsee many more exciting posts, many future installments.... You can navigate away now using the "back" button on your browser. However, if you have four minutes and ten seconds of your life that you don't want to use for any meaningful purpose, then come on a snow-filled tour of a small part of Wanstead Flats.
Fin.
Hmmm. It didn't play very well for me, the image had lots of difficulty keeping up with the audio, but presumably that is the internet's fault and not yours.
ReplyDeleteIt's quite a nice space for being so close to London. However, I was sort of hoping to see you abuse a careless dog owner. Maybe next time?
Ah, now I've realised why I don't bird an inland patch regularly. I just couldn't handle that degree of excitement on a day to day basis.
ReplyDeleteAgreed that it was 4 mins 10 seconds of wasted time but the potential is there. How about I ask God (LGRE) that if you go out to Wanstead again with your high quality phone and get the Pied Billed Grebe and American Robin for example to save me going I can claim it as a tick as well. Must be good for us all as it will save lots in carbon emissions from all those twitchers staying in and keeping warm. Of course reciprical arrangements can be made as I will volunteer on a warm sunny day and you can stay in. BucksMike
