ReplyDeleteIndeed Steve, it is a sad tale. Hawaii is one of the most recent and well-documented tales of extinction, this isn't Stegasorus - it has happened in the last couple of hundred years. What is left is still stunning though, and I think the general view is see it while you can sadly.
